History: Kayn grew up alone, his parents killed by galbatorix. He had caught word of the new dragon rider as a kid and decided that was his destiny. Kayn traveled far and wide to search for the varden. In his travels he caught sight of eragon and saphira. Their magestic art inspired him. He followed their trail to the varden hoping to be with the dragon eggs. When he was 16 he finally reached one and it hatched for him, making him a dragon rider, fighting for the varden. His mission, the same as Eragon Shadeslayer's, to destroy galbatorix. He would achieve that goal, even if it meant to die trying.
RP sample: Kayn had just arrived at the varden, his eyes wide with wonder. The buildings and soldiers of surda at first suprised him. Especially comparing to the walls of the dwarfen villages. He was 15 and about to become what the country classified as a man. His dream to become a dragon rider just as Eragon Shadeslayer. But as he walked his hopes dwindled. He had not seen or heard about the new dragon egg's. He needed to find them to fufill what he thought was his destiny. As he walked past a very large tent he glanced inside and his heart started beating quickly. Roran Stronghammer was standing there suiting up for battle. Kayn started walking again, but this time he stood a little straighter.
As kayn walked into his tent he threw his stuff on his bed. He crashed and started thinking it would take him forever to find his true dragon. He looked at the top of his tent thinking of what he could do to help with the power he could gain. He imagined himself on the back of a tan dragon, facing galbatorix and defeating him. He had seen the devastation of the lands from what galbatorix had done, and would not sit by and watch. He would defeat galbatorix, dragon rider or not...
